1. Who is responsible for your data

BrightEdge Wears ("we", "us") is a sole-proprietor apparel business owned and operated by Patsy Crawford at 194 Stoneybrook Road, Cocoa, FL 32922, United States. 2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote, produce and ship an order, and to run this website safely.

• Details you give us — name, company, email address, telephone number, shipping and billing address, order specification, artwork files, and anything you write in an email or on the quote form.
• Order and payment records — what you bought, when, at what price, and the last four digits and card type returned to us by our payment provider. We never receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code.
• Technical information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, and pages viewed, collected in server logs.
• Optional analytics — aggregated page-view statistics, collected only if you allow analytics cookies in the cookie banner.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

• To answer enquiries and prepare quotes — because you asked us to, and in our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers.
• To fulfil and ship orders, and to handle returns, repairs and warranty claims — performance of our contract with you.
• To keep tax, invoicing and sales-tax records — compliance with our legal obligations under U.S. and Florida law.
• To secure the site against abuse and fraud — our legitimate interest in operating safely.
• To send occasional product or restock emails — only with your consent, withdrawable in one click in any such email.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with data brokers, advertising networks or list vendors. We do not engage in "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising as that term is defined in California law.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers, each bound to process data only on our instructions:

• Our web host, which stores this website and its server logs
• Our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, which handles card authorisation
• Our shipping carriers (USPS and UPS), which receive the delivery name, address and phone number
• Our email provider, which transmits and stores business correspondence
• Our privacy-conscious, aggregate-only analytics provider, used only with your consent

Where a decoration job requires a specialist finish we do not run in-house, we share only the artwork and garment count — never your contact or payment details.

5. How long we keep it

• Quote requests that do not become orders: 12 months, then deleted
• Order, invoice and tax records: 7 years, as required for U.S. tax purposes
• Artwork and embroidery files: held while your account is active, then 24 months after your last order unless you ask us to delete them sooner
• Server logs: 90 days
• Marketing consents: until you withdraw them, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again

6. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live in the United States, we will honour these requests:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
• Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep
• Withdraw consent to analytics cookies or marketing emails at any time
• Ask us not to sell or share your information — we already do not
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

Email root@offers.brightedgewears.com with the subject line "Privacy request", or call 321-454-1431. We verify identity using the email address or order number already on file, and respond within 30 calendar days. We do not charge for a request, and you may use an authorised agent.

7. Security

Traffic to this site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Order records are held in access-controlled systems on need-to-know terms; only the owner and one production lead can view customer records. Payment authorisation happens entirely inside our processor's environment. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by Florida Statute 501.171.

8. Children

This website and our products are sold to adults and to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

This site sets essential cookies needed to remember your cookie choice, and optional analytics cookies only if you consent. Full detail, including how to change your mind, is in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes affecting existing customers are also announced by email. This version is effective from July 12, 2026.
